Iceland’s women’s soccer team is headed to UEFA Women’s Euro 2017! The 12th edition of the quadrennial tournament is organized by the Union of European Football Associations for women’s national soccer teams across Europe.

Back in November 2016, Iceland secured their spot in the tournament with a win over Slovenia. The team will now compete in Group C along with France, Austria and Switzerland. They will first face France on July 18, followed by Switzerland on July 22 and Austria on July 26. You can find the full tournament schedule here and follow Iceland’s journey here

To show their support for the team, Icelandair released this video demonstrating the perseverance and determination of Icelandic female soccer players, even in the face of adversity.

You can watch the live steam of the women’s team at the KEF Airport as they are cheered on by fellow Icelanders during their depart for the Netherlands in hopes of bringing home a championship!
