Explore the Best of Icelandic Cuisine at the West Iceland Food Festival!

On Saturday November 23rd, West Iceland’s Food Festival will take place in Hvanneyri. The week leading up to the festival will be largely dedicated to West Iceland Culinary Treasures with small events hosted by locals and new dishes appearing at restaurants throughout the region! 

During the festival itself, the award ceremony for Askurinn, the Icelandic championship in Artisan Food, will take place along with a food market, REKO trading and short influential talks from people who work in the farming and small food producing sector.
