Get into the holiday spirit at the renowned musical event!

Kick off the holiday season with a musical production at the Iceland Symphony Orchestra! The annual Christmas at the Symphony returns on December 14 and 15 to get Icelanders and visitors alike in the holiday spirit.

This year’s Christmas concerts include musical acts from various countries, including a recorder consort of musicians from Árnes Music School, as well as a team of percussionists and the group Hörpuhópur, all make their first appearance with the Iceland Symphony this year! Solo vocalists Hrafnhildur Árnadóttir Hafstað, Unnsteinn Manuel, and Kolbrún Völkudóttir, along with the Reykjavík Girls’ Choir, the Litlu Sprotarnir Sign Language Choir, and the Reykjanes Music School Bell Choir will perform Christmas classics. Visitors will even watch the Iceland Ballet Academy perform beautiful dances on the stage to The Skaters’ Waltz. Percussionists will play the all-time favorite, The Little Drummer Boy. Barbara the Clown, or Halldóra Geirharðsdóttir, presentes as the Master of ceremonies.
