English-Speaking Yoga Classes Now Available in Reykjavik

You won’t have to skip a class just because you’re on vacation.

Looking to travel to Iceland but don’t want to miss your favorite yoga class? Reykjavik Yoga is now open in downtown Reykjavik, located next to KEX Hostel. The new yoga studio offers English-speaking classes to accommodate tourists who are looking to give their bodies a break from exploring the beauty of Iceland. Reykjavik Yoga founder Bjarney Hinriksdóttir, better known as Baddý, opened the studio because she believes travelers should be able to enjoy their practice wherever they may be.

Baddý discovered yoga eight years ago when a friend convinced her to take a beginners vinyasa class. Six years later, she decided to take her dedication to yoga to the next level by receiving her teaching certificate. She traveled to Ubud, Bali to further her education and recently finished her advanced training.

Each class features a carefully chosen playlist and 10-15 minutes of sweet relaxation after you work up a sweat in a 90-minute class. Click here to find out if there is class scheduled during your upcoming visit to Iceland!
