Don’t Miss the 2016 Iceland Airwaves Festival!

Iceland Airwaves is ready to takeover the city.

This year’s annual Iceland Airwaves music festival takes over Reykjavik from November 2 through 6 at the Harpa Concert Hall, Gamla Bio, Hurra and various other performance venues throughout the city. Featuring dozens of artists like Fufanu, Axel Flóvent, Prins Póló’s, Retro Stefson, In the Company of Men and Pink Street Boys (to name a few!), this year’s event is a must-attend. Even Björk will be there! On Saturday, November 5 at Eldborg, Harpa, Björk will take the stage in a very special sold out performance.

Throughout the week Iceland Airwaves 2016 takes over Reykjavik, off-venue concerts will be scattered throughout the city. Iceland Naturally, in partnership KEXP and Kexland, will host one of the many off-venue shows at the famous KEX Hostel! Click here for more information about the live stream through KEXP’s website and a full performance schedule.

Since 1999, Iceland Airwaves has been the premiere music festival featuring up-and-coming artists from Iceland and around the globe. In fact, Rolling Stone dubbed it “the hippest long weekend on the annual music-festival calendar.” Our lucky #WinIcelandAirwaves winner, Kay Rodriguez, will be in attendance experiencing the incredible festival for the first time!

If you’re looking to join the excitement last minute, Icelandair offers a special package that includes roundtrip airfare, two nights hotel and an Airwaves festival pass starting at $615* per person. Book your trip today!
