Reykjavik’s Secret Solstice music festival, now back for its sixth year, brings the hottest names in music from both international and local talent to a uniquely Icelandic event from June 21-23, 2019. The multi-stage festival takes place during Iceland’s “midnight sun phenomenon,” when Iceland experiences 24 hours of daylight due to the Earth’s axis tilted towards the sun in summertime. That means this festival occurs over a period of 72 hours of continuous daylight!
This year’s lineup includes: Martin Garrix, Black Eyed Peas, Rita Ora, Robert Plant and the Sensational Spaceshifters and many more! Click here for the full lineup. Artists range from many different musical genres, making this one of the most unique and versatile festivals in Iceland and the world!
Considering attending the festival? You can choose from an array of ticket options for the festival or add-on passes to side events like “Into the Glacier,” a party inside a glacier, or the “Lava Tunnel,” where attendees can travel underground to witness the natural formations inside the Lava Tunnel to an intimate gig hosted in the rare beauty of Raufarhólshellir. Check out all ticket choices here.
From now until May 15, Icelandic Glacial is giving one lucky person the chance to win a trip to the festival! For more details and to enter, click here.
