Ólafur Arnalds is an Icelandic multi-instrumentalist and producer from Mosfellsbær, Iceland. He mixes strings and piano with loops and beats crossing over from ambient/electronic to pop. His most recent album, Re:member, is regarded as a seamless assemblance of the sounds of live and computer-borne instruments. Before going solo, Ólafur was the drummer for several bands, including metalcore group, Celestine. You may have also heard a handful of his songs in movies and TV show soundtracks such as The Hunger Games, Looper, So You Think You Can Dance, and more!
Ólafur Arnalds will kick off his North American tour in Seattle, WA in late January and finish in Montreal, Canada on February 9, 2019.
