Bike Through Volcanic Scenery with The Blue Lagoon Challenge

The 60 km mountain bike race is taking place June 3.

Calling all bikers! The Blue Lagoon Challenge, one of the largest mountain bike races in Iceland, returns June 3. The 60 km race takes riders through the breathtaking volcanic scenery at Reykjanes starting at the town of Hafnarfjörður to the iconic Blue Lagoon.

With 1,000 bikers taking part in the yearly race, they will be challenged by the course’s changing surface and rising elevation. Journeying across gravel and paved roads, bikers will end the race with a total elevation gain of 600 meters!

You can register for the Blue Lagoon Challenge here.
