This month, Icelandic singer-songwriter, Ásgeir, touches down in North America to finish out his global tour! He specializes in indie electronic and atmospheric folk.
Ásgeir quickly became an overnight sensation in Iceland when his first album “Dyrd i daudathogn” rose up the charts and turned into Iceland’s fastest selling debut album by a domestic artist. Now with four albums, Ásgeir’s music continues to be loved by Icelanders and music fanatics across the globe. During the 2012 Iceland Music Awards, he won Best Pop/Rock Album, Best Newcomer, Male Vocalist of the Year, and Songwriter of the Year! Most recently, he performed at one of Iceland’s favorite festivals – Iceland Airwaves.
