The Annual ICCT Iceland Travel Show takes place on February 9 from 2-4pm at the Morningside High Park Presbyterian Church in Toronto, ON. Whether you are planning your very first trip to Iceland or have been there many times, the Travel Show is a great opportunity to meet and learn from other travelers, to peruse travel brochures and information, and to ask questions. The Iceland Travel Show will also features lots of great photos of Iceland, plus coffee and treats will follow the presentations from the following speakers:
- Michael Pezzi: Michael Pezzi is a Canadian who enjoys combining his passions of travel and photography to experience different cultures, as well as capturing dramatic landscapes. Mike travelled to Iceland for the first time this past spring and has returned with a portfolio of absolutely gorgeous photos of the land of ice and fire. Mike will share with us the challenges and secrets of getting the perfect shot! You can follow his adventures on Instagram here.
- Gail Einarson-McCleery: Gail is a well-known member of our Icelandic Canadian community, is the Past President of both the ICCT and the Icelandic National League of North America (INL-NA). She is also the former Former Honorary Consul of Iceland in Toronto. Gail and her daughter joined a group of 47 people from across Canada and the U.S. for a 12-day tour around Iceland this past summer in honor of the 100th centenary of the INL-NA. Gail will share her takeaways from this once-in-a-lifetime experience that included discovering family farms, wonderful traditional foods, a reception with the President, and lots of hot springs!
